New York Fashion Week is home to many political statements. Trump is often the focal point of attention, but protests are mostly silent. Sometimes, designers get more out of their comfort zone, such as Collina Strada and Prabal Gurung last year. The former about body positivity, the latter about political borders and the wall between Mexico and The United States.
